Vehicle Compatibility: 

This DME is compatible only with BMW vehicles equipped with the N54 engine and MSD81 DME system. It is not compatible with MSD80-equipped vehicles or with any other BMW engine variants, including N51, N52, N53, or N55 applications.

Important: If your vehicle is currently equipped with an MSD80 DME, this unit will not work as a direct replacement. In that case, you must purchase our MSD80 to MSD81 Upgrade Service.
