Digital Data Transfer Service.
This service includes the extraction of data from the original faulty module and the transfer of that data to the replacement module provided by the customer. Please note that if the original software is corrupted or has issues, these problems will carry over to the replacement module, which will inherit the same issues. We do not check or test the software as part of this service; the customer is only paying for the data transfer itself.

When an ECU or body computer is lost, burnt, or dead, the immobilizer secret that pairs the two is stranded inside a module. Fit a used replacement and it arrives carrying a secret from another car, the engine will crank and never start, and there is no diagnostic procedure that fixes it.
We recover that secret at component level and write it into your donor module. It comes back paired to the surviving original, ready to fit and ready for the procedures you already run in-house.
Not an immobilizer delete. The system stays intact. We do not disable, bypass, or remove it.
The one condition
One of the two modules must be original to the car. That module is the only place the secret exists. If it is physically destroyed or the memory is gone, nothing can be recovered, from us or anyone.

Fire, flood, and physical damage are judged case by case. Send photos with the work order and we will tell you before you ship.
Before your customer buys a donor
Send us the part number and a photo of the module label. We confirm whether it is a supported part for that VIN and model year, free, usually same day.
Worth doing every time. Sourcing the wrong donor is the most common and most expensive mistake on these jobs, and it is entirely avoidable.
What comes back
- Your donor module, synchronised to the car’s surviving original
- Stored VIN corrected to your vehicle where applicable
- A written work record for the repair order, stating what was read, what was changed, and how it was verified
What you do after
Both of these are inside your existing capability. Neither is ours.
Keys
- ECU replaced, keys unaffected. They live in the NBC and yours is original.
- NBC replaced, the donor holds the donor car’s transponders. The customer’s keys will not start the car until they are learned to the replacement module.
Ask about PIN extraction when you submit the work order. A used body computer will not release its PIN through the scanner, and without it the key learn has nothing to work with.
Proxi
A used NBC also arrives holding the donor car’s Proxi configuration.
Odometer blinking at key-on is a Proxi mismatch, not an immobilizer fault. The NBC runs a configuration check every key-on and blinks the odometer through the cluster when it fails. The engine still starts.
2 procedures, and the order matters:
- Proxi upload: VIN-specific file from the Maserati server into the NBC.
- Proxi alignment: pushes that configuration out to NQS, NIT, NCL, NIM, NSP, and NAB on GranCabrio. Offline.
Run the alignment first and you copy the donor’s configuration onto five more modules. Upload, then align.

- Parts are handled as-is. We do not test, power up, or bench check anything. Our product is the data. A module that was dead when you shipped it will be dead when it comes back.
- Verification confirms the data is correct. It does not make faulty hardware work.
- The ordering shop verifies vehicle ownership with its own customer. We work from your work order and keep your credentials on file.
- Trade account required before first order.
- Work order first. Modules arriving without one are returned unopened at the sender’s cost.
